Website issues

  • the svg for the watch on the website doesn't look like the real watch. the real watch doesnt have a screen or a button on the side.
  • remove all emdashes, it makes this look fake
  • the comparison between Impulse and competitors is disingenuous towards my competitors. redo that section so it doesn't make impulse look absurdly good compared to competitors. for example, i would say Pavlok does "work in the physical world", but thats a vague term anyways. go through each catagory, phone blockers, habit apps, and aversion devices, and give it credit where credit is due to what they can do, but then show how mine can do more by adding more catagories that only mine can do.
  • change the green color scheme to the same-intensity blue.

  • remove the "be present with your family" block, either replace it with something else from the marketing document or make it a placeholder

  • the part describing the impulse anchor is unclear about what is describing. its too generic. make the text for "the impulse anchor" bigger, and make an SVG for the anchor which is prominently placed, and make that svg above the "your home" graphic. just make the impulse anchor section clear that its describing the impulse anchor, not the watch.

  • put the founder section below the FAQ — DONE: no founder section exists in the live site, confirmed deleted.

  • change website to show actual website phones instead of renders (2026-08-09 log, verbatim — read as: the app-preview phone mockups should be real screenshots of the running app, not rendered stand-ins)

  • the hero line still says "Ships Q1 2027". the 2026-08-21 plan change moved the ship target to September 2027, communicated to backers as October 2027. src/components/home/HeroSection.vue:19. this is the only public asset still carrying the old date; launch-plan.md and kickstarter-page.md were both corrected on 08-21. it is one line, and it is a dated claim on a page collecting emails.
  • the legal pages name the seller as "IMPULSE HARDWARE DAVID ALLAN MACPHERSON" (sole proprietor) on the live site. Impulse Gear LLC was organised 2026-09-23, and that evening all five legal pages (terms_and_conditions, eula, privacy_policy, return_policy, both shipping_policy copies) were rewritten to "Impulse Gear LLC" and dist/ rebuilt at 21:15 — but not deployed: on 2026-09-24 the live bundle (index-fqOs4KOK.js) still carries the old name 29 times, and dist/ is index-Bvjzflvu.js. Nothing committed either. npx firebase deploy closes it, and the deploy ships the whole uncommitted working tree, so read git status first. (found by /parselogs 2026-09-24, from file timestamps and the live bundle — no log mentions it)
